lot of natural light to penetrate the interior. The natural lights are complimented by artificial light which highlights the minimal and industrial material board and furniture collection. White walls, cherry timber details and black matte steel compliments the existing concrete features and make for a harmonious space.

The project required a full documentation set for the proposed renovation which stretches over two storeys and includes both back and front of house. The documentation set includes furniture plans, reflective ceiling plans, sections, elevations, bar and staircase plans, sections, elevations and detail call outs.

Le Velo is a renovation project of a bike café located in Wentworth Point, Sydney. The clients – Sue and Andy Baker – requests maintaining of original structural elements, such as the exposed ceiling and concrete slab. The couple also have an interest and love for bicycling and street art. An industrial atmosphere was therefore designed to complement the existing features and create a trendy and alternative experience.

Altogether, the project includes café and restaurant areas, in addition to seating areas. An additional exhibition zone for showcasing bicycles is also within the construction to address the clients’ love for the activity.
