Paradis Hytte is an innovative healing space located in the Norwegian Fjord. The architecture is inspired by the healing power of water and is therefore placed halfway under the river surface. To obtain maximal benefits, it’s also aligned against a waterfall, pouring down the mountain wall. Because of the location, the property has to be able to withstand the pressure of nature and is therefore designed with an especially strong glazing system that is both acoustic, thermal and moisture resistant. Altogether, the design of the healing space is a multi-sensory experience which stimulates both sight, smell, sound and touch.

The concept of Paradis Hytte is to create a 50 sqm home away from home, where the user is able to disconnect

is to disconnect from the haze of their everyday life. At Paradis Hytte, one immerse oneself into nature and one's own soul and body. The healing space is therefore, disconnected to all traffic and consist of a three-storey building with associated jetty and large balcony. The remote access points increase the natural sensation of the property and allow the user to be able to fully enjoy the surroundings.

However, the interiors are also designed with a number of luxurious focal points– e.g. spa area, underwater shower and open fireplaces – which allow relaxation and reenergisation in all weathers. Therefore, Paradis Hytte is the optimal vacation home for whomever in need of healing experience.
