A variety of floor and seating levels complements the neutral selection of materials and create a diversity that is visually and physically engaging for both people and animals.
The variety of height of both tables and floors are also accompanied by a selection of contemporary furnishing, which are all locally distributed. Australian brands – such as Pop & Scott – are combined with Scandinavian brands – such as Afteroom – to create a diverse and varied design that conveys inclusivity and charm.

The Cat Cafe is an extension of the redevelopment of Sydney Dogs & Cats Home. It is developed as an independent service which will attract a wider audience to the corporation and therefore, generate more funds. The Café has become a new focal point and gives the organisation a new opportunity to widener their communal support.
The space is designed with a materiality which complements the brand as well as the main building. It incorporates a monochromatic colour palette and a minimal selection of materials – such as black steel, grey plaster and plywood. However, as the café conveys a different purpose from the preliminary subdivisions of the organisation – the design communicates a distinctly different atmosphere. As opposed to the calm
